Roundelay is an alternative rock band from St. John’s, Newfoundland, formed in 2001. The band currently consists of Joe Tucker (guitar, vocals), Mike Lahey (guitar, vocals), Brad Nichols (bass), and Logan Wall (drums).
Roundelay got its start playing punk and hardcore all-ages shows around St. John’s in the early 2000s, eventually expanding beyond the local scene to perform throughout Newfoundland and Atlantic Canada. Over the years, the band’s sound has evolved while retaining the alternative and punk influences at its roots.
Since forming, Roundelay has released three studio albums, an EP, and a three-song cassette single. Their most recent full-length album, There Just Might Be Enough Time, was released in December 2017.
Roundelay continues to perform regularly in St. John’s, both as a full band and in acoustic settings. With members now based in different cities across Canada, live lineups often feature friends and guest musicians including Paddy Byrne, Chris Donnelly, Mike Skiffington and Arnob Bal, allowing the band to continue playing full-band shows while also occasionally performing as an acoustic duo.
The band is currently working on a new album with longtime friend and producer Arnob Bal, aka FamLi.
